    Thanks for your message.

Yes, I still want to maintain these modules, this is only a transfer of ownership.

Regarding the transfer itself, only OCA people with some admin rights (or repository creation) are able to do it, I checked and I cannot. But I'll ask to Simone, he should be able to do it :+1

A question : do you want to be the maintainers of this repo, or are you looking for new maintainers ?

A remarque : regarding migration, I transfered the ownership of repo from grap to OCA (https://github.com/OCA/odoo-module-migrator), and all you have to do is to go to the setting page, and click on the transfer section. The previous link (https://github.com/grap/odoo-module-migrator/) will continue to work.
Then a PR has to be done on OCA conf repo. (see https://github.com/OCA/repo-maintainer-conf/blob/master/conf/repo/odoo-community.yml#L9)

    Hey,
For anyone interested in the OnlyOffice feature: this was just posted in the feature request regarding the history functionality:

“The support for document history has been added in the latest version of the connector app.”

    All the best

    Hi Bruno

What I saw on their demo is a direct integration of what you could find in a drive (spreadsheet, slides, docs...) in enterprise documents module. It looks like you can edit it in odoo UI.
(I can go back tomorrow check it again)

Then I had the idea of integrating the same functionality in OCA's document_page or dms...

Ok for me, useful modules, tested and used in production here.
Transfering the ownership is the best option to keep the all history (PR, issue)

  • Proposing camptocamp/odoo-repository modules to OCA
    Good morning,

During last OCA Days event, I introduced a tool collecting some informations about Odoo modules, and helping in the migration and maintenance of Odoo projects:

We would like to propose this tool (or collections of modules) to OCA as it was planned initially, it is currently hosted there:

If the community agrees, I would need to transfer the ownership of this repository to OCA (to keep issues and PRs), and then declare this repository in https://github.com/OCA/repo-maintainer-conf as well.
Any feedback about this? Or is it better to create a brand new repository (starting from https://github.com/OCA/repo-maintainer-conf ) and pushing code there afterwards (but losing issues and PRs)?

  • report_py3o

    Hello everyone,

I created a report with py3o and an email template for the accounting module. I inserted the report into the email template in the Settings tab in the Dynamic Reports field. When sending a new or existing invoice, the system inserts my PDF file but leaves the default view for PDF and XML files.

    We use Odoo.sh version 18.

How can I replace the standard PDF and XML attachments in the Send & Print Wizard with a Py3o report? The Py3o report should be created with the XML file.

Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions.

    With kind regards

    Salam Madhumani

We have used a middleware integration with Odoo and SAP to cover the e-invoicing government requirements in Saudi Arabia.

Anyhow, to provide a more detailed technical proposal, I would need:

    1. SAP version and modules currently in use (ECC, S/4HANA, Business One?)
    2. Integration frequency requirements (real-time vs. batch)
    3. Data volume estimates
    4. Specific Odoo modules to be integrated
    5. Network architecture (on-premise, cloud, hybrid)
    6. Security and compliance requirements for airport operations

Looking forward to hearing from you.

    Hi Cyril,

    Hope you’re doing great!

We’re currently working with Cochin International Airport on the implementation of Odoo ERP, covering Asset Management and several other modules.
The project also includes integration with SAP.

I’d like to connect with you to discuss this further and explore potential collaboration opportunities.

    Hello everyone

I hope Fabien is not in the mailing list... :-P

I have a customer (flight airlines) who thinks about managing his CMMS with Odoo and integrate data with SAP (assets, analytic and accounting data).

Do you have such experience or do you want to collaborate on this ?

    Best regards

    Thank you Pedro and Stéphane.
Indeed it seems I got it working, as the actual Test build is green, and I see why the unreleased dependencies should be red.

    oca_dependencies is mentioned here:
    https://github.com/OCA/odoo-community.org/blob/master/website/Contribution/CONTRIBUTING.rst#oca-dependencies-txt

    Thanks

Yes, that is correct. Although the older method with the setup.py in a side directory is still supported and the one we use by default  until 16.0.

It looks like test-requirements.txt is the way, but I haven't been successful to get the syntax right.
Currently there are "Unreleased dependencies" build errors that I don't understand (of course they are unreleased!).

I realize the contributing documentation is out of date: it still mentions oca_dependencies.txt, that I believe is ineffective today, and I couldn0t find helpful guidance there regarding test-dependencies.txt.

    I appreciate the help.

  • Proposing myself (AKA flotho) as Infrastructure Maintainer PSC
    Good evening everyone,

I'm thrilled to propose myself as as Infrastructure Maintainer PSC .

We're running multiple Odoo CE+ OCA modules for such a long time for our customers.
We already contribute to various connectors and share issues and solutions to OpenUpgrade.

We also have developed multiple modules regarding the Infrastructure Repo.
Our plan is the following :
    • Migrate to v18 the base_dns_infrastructure we've already ported in v16 https://github.com/OCA/infrastructure/pull/20
    • Share a module to store basic information on the servers we're running, and of course make the link to the first one
    • Develop / port a connector to OVH to be able to fill the dns infrastrcure base
Thanks to this, managing commercial aspects of tour IT will mostly be a pleasure.

    Thanks for your consideration,

    Vertical seprator

  • Electronic signature in Spanish Facturae
    Hello OCA Contributors,

My team and I were wondering how to electronically sign invoices in Odoo 17 using Facturae. We've followed all the tutorials we could find and filled in all the required information. However, when generating the file with "Create Facturae file," if we choose to sign it electronically, it always says that the digital certificate was not found in the system ("The provided certificate is not found in the system.") When we only download the .xml file without signing it electronically, FACE (https://face.gob.es/) validates it in terms of Facturae Format and Administrative Centers, so the only issue is the electronic signature. Therefore, we wanted to ask for your ideas on this.

Thank you and have a nice day,
    ----------
    Tatiana López Velázquez.

  • Re: Integrating Odoo with SAP

    Hi Cyril,

we have some. Depending on the Version of SAP. Do they use

    SAP ByD

    SAP ERP 7

    S4/HANA

Unfortunately a project (to my utter experience) doesn't become really fluent / agile once you start to integrate with SAP. The reasons are manifold but what we experienced is

1.) Most SAP Integrators don't work as agile as ist would be standard in an Odoo project

2.) The security requirements of the SAP environment slows down the process

3.) Not all potentials means of integration are alsways available (because of missing Know How and more likely missing licenses or willingness to pay them)

Nonetheless we could support and i have a large network of SAP experts here in Magdeburg that develop SAP education curriculae for 3000+ universties and education entities on the globe (though they won't have much experitse with ByD but ony with the mainline SAP product and S4/HANA)

    Best Frederik
