What does the OCA finance thanks to your company Sponsorship?
The technical ressources (tools and infrastructure) to allow our contributors community to collaborate in an efficient and reliable way;
The operational team of the OCA (currently 3 people working part jobs: Executive Director, Event Manager & General Secretary, Content Creator & Training Manager) as well as the legal and accounting experts.
The OpenUpgrade project: a core team of OCA contributors work on the creation of the OpenUpgrade scripts after each new major Odoo release. This allows to migrate any Odoo database without losing data. We aim at having the scripts ready in the 3 months following a major Odoo release each year.
The OCA website and Odoo database (what else!?) to manage the association as a whole.
We are currently working on a new version adding a new :
- App Store (improved discoverability of OCA modules),
- a crowdfunding platform for new modules and upgrades,
- a great presentation of our sponsors - you! - contributors and members, highlighting their various contributions to the OCA over the years
- a place to host exclusive content for our members.
