The idea would be to create an infrastructure that would allow to add IoT devices to Odoo, and coordinate various actions, such as:

A base module 'iot_base' would provide the basic models (IOT Device, IOT System) that can then be inherited by specific modules, that will implement specific features, such as the Smart Switch integration defined in https://github.com/etobella/iot/tree/11.0-iot/iot_sonoff
