Louvain la Neuve code sprint: great news from Travis
by
Camptocamp France SAS, Alexandre Fayolle
Hello all I've been discussing with people at Travis-ci.org about the code sprint and the huge back log we had during last year's code sprint, and they proposed to raise the concurrency of OCA builds to 10 during the event, which should significantly improve the build throughput. Nevertheless, I remind you that Travis builds are a scarce resource, so please keep the following in mind during the code sprint: * run flake8 manually on your laptop before pushing, this will save lots of work * run the automated tests of all addons in the project you are working on, and fix errors before pushing * only submit a PR when you are pretty sure the CI will be green. In all case, avoid creating a PR and then pushing lots of individual commits on your branch * use '[skip ci]' in your commit message for commits you don't want to build (a typo fix in a readme for example). Thanks for your attention, and let's make this code sprint a great event. -- Alexandre Fayolle Chef de Projet Tel : +33 4 58 48 20 30 Camptocamp France SAS Savoie Technolac, BP 352 73377 Le Bourget du Lac Cedex http://www.camptocamp.com
