Since some people have expressed their interest on the mailing list about the V8 version I will post on the community list as well.

The 8.0 branch has been pushed to the repository https://github.com/pledra/odoo-product-configurator

There is one more milestone to go for the full stack to be released and another small increment for a detailed documentation to shorten the learning curve and aid future development.
