byThank you for all your comments.I'll try to take into account all of them and develop a generic module providing the basis for use cases specific to countries. If camptocamp agrees I propose to start from its code (by taking care to preserve the history) to develop this new module. It depends whether we want to be able to validate the number per country but I think it would start with kind of a l10n_xx_business_registration_number (or equivalent) with a standard function call for checking the logic for the country--
