Dear,

 

There is a connector module to Nextcloud / Owncloud in the app store. With this module, you can, use the full power of these DMS systems. Nextcloud is open source. I believe this is the best way to achieve what you want.

Hello,

 

I am investigating a possibility of allowing somehow editing and viewing of attachments without the need to download and reupload them locally. I would like for Odoo to replace any local storage and save users from need to download/upload the files. DMS module comes to mind as a good base for orgnaizing that. I can see multiple building blocks for this but I am interested if anyone has taken this idea any further. Some of the possible building blocks could be:

 

 

I was able to access demo of Odoo 14.0 Enterprise with new possibility to create "live" spreadsheets. Don't know how that is done (is it 14.0's module google_spreadsheets?) but that won't allow for opening your own Excel nor Word files :-(

 

Has anyone attempted anything like this succesfully? Can you give any pointers please? Thank you
