I'm a fan of separate repos for third party connectors.But also its only of interest to people running Office365. I think it is too tough on a generic Odoo only module maintainer to have to manage those kind of modules alongside other modules. Better a seperate repo and interested maintainer IMO. Also as an Office 365 / Azure AD user/admin there is a lot more in this realm that could be done.
Examples:
User signup
User creation / sync
Billing
Onedrive / Sharepoint
Teams
Azure AD Groups mapped to Odoo security groups.
Not that I have any plans to actually do them. But I'd sure review them. Maybe I could move my Office 365 Oauth connector over to a specific OCA repo, out of my own generic public addons. Although that one does probably belong in server-auth.
