Just a comment. We have already worked on an elasticsearch connector. I am adding the repo because it might be interesting. If you like it, we can add it to OCA.

This repo have a generic module + a real adapter for algolia (soon we will work with Ascone to propose elastic implementation)

This repo add a generic concept of storage backend with an abstract API for pushing/getting data  in different backend (sftp, ftp...), and also implementation for storing, file, image (with resize).
