Dear fellow OCA contributors and members, 

while working on a project to migrate from v7 to v10 for an IT service
company i came across the used module

hr_timesheet_invoice

which is quite useful for those kinds of service companies. However,
this has never been ported to versions > 8. Is there as special reason
for that? Has the functionality been obsolete due to other modules?
The reason why i am asking. I would like to port it to v10 with my team
but only if the functionality hasn't been replace by other similarly
valuable modules

Response would be well appreciates
