Multi currency revaluation of opening entries
by
Eska Yazilim, Levent Karakaş
Hello Accounting experts,
I have a problem with multi-currency revaluation of opening entries. After closing a fiscal year and creating opening entry for the new fiscal year, opening entries are reconciled automatically. Assume we have a multi currency bank account and have it's opening entry reconciled. When we try to make multi currency revaluation, this entry will be ignored since it is reconciled. There is an unreconciled account entry previous year but multi currency is revaluates only entries within the same fiscal year of revaluation date. Our point of view might be wrong. Do anyone have a clue about how to get over this problem? Your help is appreciated. Thanks,
Levent
