API vs. Bank Statement import from Stripe V9+

Hi there,
I need to integrate a stripe account used for payments from a website.
I see two ways, through the API or via a csv export/import into odoo.
I hesitate between a module of type
"account_bank_statement_import_stripe", which seems easier to develop
but prone to errors, or a "connector_stripe" sort of.
Is there any work done on such modules? Any advice is more than welcome!
