Migration | OCA Reconcile | V19

The module Account Reconcile OCA allows to reconcile bank statements and account marked as reconcile.

In the Odoo Community Edition, it is not possible to reconcile bank statement.  This OCA module adds the feature which is comparable to the Odoo Enterprise Edition feature.

ABOUT THE MIGRATION

The migration of account_reconcile_oca mainly depends on updating the account_reconcile_model_oca module, which is the most complex part of the work. The core difficulty comes from substantial changes in the underlying Odoo models account_reconcile_model and account_reconcile_model_line, which require a detailed review and adaptation of the customizations.

In addition, the JavaScript part has also changed significantly. Since comparing and analysing JS differences is more time-consuming, this adds extra complexity to the migration process. Also, it is the perfect moment for adding Javascript tests to make it more stable.
